After the victorious roll out in London and New York of the Fashion Studios, Amazon rolled out the biggest separate Fashion Imaging Studio in Gurugram in India.
Dubbed as Blink, the studio is stretched over 44,000 Sq. Ft. with “state of the art” facility of digital imaging. The studio is first of its type in the country and only 1/3rd of its kind all over the world by Amazon, claimed a statement. Apart from 16 separate photography high-tech bays, the studio also has video editing facilities, a huge editorial suite, and creative spaces. Founded as a “Center for Creative Excellence,” the project will allow Amazon Fashion to artistically work together with Fashion partners and brands to make lakhs of images with high quality for its fashion merchandize each year.
“At Amazon, we every time think about how we will elevate the bar, how we will re-describe the way the users engage with, discover, and shop online for fashion. In all of our attempts, we have made this studio in terms of scale, technology, and talent are developed to cater to high-quality imagery that educates and inspires our users,” claimed Head of Amazon Fashion India, Arun Sirdeshmukh, to the media in an interview.
“With this studio we will carry on to reinforce our relationships all over the entire segment with the help of designers, brands, and creative talent. This is a division of our plan to modernize in how fashion is showcased on the website and be the most excellent possible place for fashion companies to represent themselves on the Internet,” he further added. Speaking on the roll out, Head of Merchandizing and Buying in India at Marks & Spencer, Ritesh Mishra, claimed, “Our joint venture with Amazon Fashion permits us to cross a wide user base all over the country.”
“With services of more than 1,500 brands on Amazon.in, we are capable of making it even more expedient for users to shop our excellence collections of clothing in India. The roll out of the latest Amazon Fashion Studio is actually thrilling and we are looking forward to displaying more of our newest outfit ideas and styles.”
