Upcoming handset of Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone brand, commonly being dubbed as “Desh Ka Smartphone,” will be solely available on Flipkart, the e-commerce portal. The e-commerce platform this week put a teaser page of the handset, verifying that Xiaomi will trade its “Desh ka Smartphone” only on Flipkart. This roll out of smartphone by Xiaomi is set to elevate the profit of global smartphone market.
Xiaomi is planned to roll out the handset this month. One of the main highlights of the handset seems to be its battery since there is a tiny clip on the site stating enhanced battery life for the handset. Some other aspects that the firm is showcasing are effortless multi-tasking and multi-language support. The roll out of the current Xiaomi handsets was verified by Manu Kumar Jain, India head of the firm, on Twitter previously this month.
As per various reports, the forthcoming smartphone is expected to be Xiaomi Redmi 5A handset obtainable at 599 Yan (almost Rs 5,800) in China. The Redmi 5A sports an HD 5-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280. The handset is fueled by a Quad-Core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It provides a 16 GB internal memory and support of microSD card up to 128 GB.
Heir to the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the handset is supported by a 3000mAh battery and operates on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. For connectivity, it comprises VoLTE, 4G, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, and Bluetooth. On the imaging duties, the handset features a front camera of 5 MP for selfies and a rear camera of 13 MP with aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash.
